This tournament is part of the initiatives aimed at promoting a culture of sports and healthy inter-institutional competition.
The Secretary of Citizen Security, Mr. Pablo Vázquez Camacho, acknowledged that engaging in sports is an “indispensable tool for the comprehensive development of women and men in the police force,” and he commended them for their dedication and efforts, which serve as an inspiration to all.
“Boxing programs, motivational talks by boxers like Irma and ‘La Barbie,’ whom I greatly appreciate for their daily presence in schools throughout the city, form an alliance that builds strength and provides an example of hope. In his remarks, Mr. Francisco Javier Moreno Montaño, the Subsecretary of Traffic Control for the SSC, emphasized that the tournament also served as a tribute to David “El Macetón” Cabrera.
